Fitness videos can provide great fitness training instruction as well as motivation for us girls looking to improve our game, bodies and health. I like to use a follow-along type DVD when I don't feel like going to the gym that day or the weather is nasty or I want to try a new dance routine.
You can find a lot of great samples of DVDs on YouTube...kind of sample before you buy. Sometimes you can access the whole recording on there.
There are also some other great sites that give you a free daily workout like BodyRock (short hard workouts and lots of cool challenges) and Fitness Blender, a husband and wife (fitness trainers) who have created this incredible site of full-length video workouts.
I purchase almost all of my fitness videos from either colagevideo.com or Amazon. Collagevideo lets you search by exercise or workout type as well as by your goals. There are plenty of samples of the recordings for you to look at first as well.

I LOVE this workout...! But then again, dance is my forte... But in defense of a fun and not-so-easy-to-learn workout, this one is challenging and gets you sweating right away. Not to mention you get to look pretty sexy while sweating:)Dance with Julianne: Just Dance!

Who can resist Jillian? She is tough and sexy and will help you to get fit. This is a more traditional style workout, simple and effective moves and a great 30-day program to follow for almost all levels of fitness. Worth a try! I love this particular Zumba DVD because it is simple, easy, 45 minute workout and so fun! Again, I am partial to dance fitness, but if you have not tried Zumba, this is a good one to start with. When I first started I couldn't get through the whole thing. It took me almost a month to really get through the whole workout. Of course, P90X. This workout is kick-ass! My daughter and I started it, I didn't actually finish the whole program...I plan on it! But it will shape and challenge you physically and mentally like no other.
